YOGA

Inner and outer worlds for wellbeing
Yoga is a gift to see our inner worlds more clearly and to support how we relate authentically in our outer worlds for our everyday life.

Yoga with Hannah
Hannah shares yoga both as a creative movement practice and as embodied research, to support others to experience their practice with movement and posture, breathing and awareness, stillness and mindfulness.
About

Hannah Arnett, based in Bristol, UK, is a yoga teacher, researcher, and environmental psychologist. Hannah aims to empower others to find their practice through movement and stillness with their own emerging knowledge; to help live a meaningful, peaceful and healthy life. Alongside her in-person yoga classes, she is involved in collaborations to promote wellbeing and develop healthy and creative environments.
Hannah completed yoga teacher training in 2022 over one year (200hours + Hot Yoga, accredited by Yoga Alliance International) and is a member of the British Wheel of Yoga. She focuses her practice on vinyasa, a creative form of hatha yoga, with gentle and strong movement flows.
Teaching includes power classes focussed on strength, form and endurance; as well as flows and stretches to enter deep relaxation and meditation with curated soundtracks.

“Hannah's classes are amazing! I was new to yoga when I started her weekly classes, but Hannah quickly made me feel comfortable and confident. She's always so welcoming and full of positive energy, which makes it easy to feel relaxed. I always leave sessions feeling refreshed, grounded, and ready to take on the day - I can’t recommend Hannah’s classes enough! "

"As someone who had never really given Yoga a chance, one Sunday morning with nothing to do, I turned up for my first Yoga session with Hannah complete with a total lack of knowledge and frankly a low expectation of enjoyment. Despite this, I was greeted warmly and for the next hour, expertly guided and safely held through various physical exercises that tested not only my strength, but also my concentration. These morning sessions soon became a regular wellbeing treat to myself. A space where I felt I worked hard, but was never pushed beyond my capabilities - leaving me feeling exhilarated mentally and physically but also oddly at peace. Hannah helped me understand why people love Yoga…and why I need Yoga. I simply can’t recommend her classes enough."

“Hannah has been my yoga instructor for almost two years now and I have attended every week without fail. Can only say, come and try her classes and you'll be hooked."

'Alta' in Latin translates to mean ‘high', 'deep-rooted', 'profound'; a human state we can experience, when we can be.
Studio altaa is an endeavour to co-create environments for inner and outer worlds for wellbeing, as we are, where we are.
Thank you to Hana Wolf for design, Nicola Percy for photography, and Quinta Alta Vista who inspired and guided me to see what is possible when we find our place.
I give gratitude to the many teachers I have learnt and learn with - thank you. I honour the roots of yoga as an ancient practice, and take responsibility to practice authentically; celebrating inclusivity, diversity and respect for the knowledge and wisdom of ancient and traditional teachings to harness their goodness.
